KAYUTA LAKE CAMPGROUND IS UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP
Welcome to your NEW home away from home!
Greetings from Mike & Karin Caccavale!
As of February, 2008, we are the new owners of the Kayuta Lake Campground. We want to make sure that every guest at our campground feels welcome by providing you with a clean, safe, family friendly environment to relax and enjoy yourself. Feel free to stop by the office and say hello.
Our current goals for the campground include a lot of cleaning and restoration, as well as bringing this park up to quality standards we know you expect and will appreciate. We plan on making some major upgrades throughout the park over the upcoming year.
We are also in the process of designing a new webpage. So if anyone has any recent pictures taken at the campground that they would like to share, please feel free to e-mail them to info@kayutalakecampground.com.
One of the first changes we will be making will be to extend the camping season. Beginning in 2008, our season will now run from May 1st to October 15th. Be sure to make your reservations early.
Please check our site periodically for more updates and changes!!!!

|
| The campground is open from May 1st through October 15th.
| | What time is check-in and check-out?
|
| Check-in time is after 2 PM. Check-out time is 11:00 AM for cabins and the mobile home and 12:00 PM for campsites. Early check-in and late check-out may be available depending upon availability for $3.50 per hour on our campsites (Sorry, we can not accommodate early check-in or late check-out for our rental units)
| | Are pets allowed?
|
| Kayuta Lake Campground is pet friendly throughout the park except for our rental units. In order to ensure the enjoyment of our guests the following guidelines have been established.
It is the sole responsibility of the pet owner to pick up after their pets. Please bag and disposed of pet droppings immediately. Dogipot bags are provided throughout the park at various locations for your convenience.
Pets should not be left unattended, particularly if their barking will disturb other campers.
When outside your camping unit, pets are to be on a short leash at all times, unless tied on a strong durable chain or rope that will not allow your pet to extend off your site in any direction.
All owners should carry with them proper papers indicating vaccinations to be presented to our staff upon request.
Pets are not permitted in the beach area or in any of our rental units.
| | Are there any restaurants nearby?
|
| There are many restaurants in the area. Just up the road from the campground are Garramone's Restaurant (Italian) and The Buffalo Head Restaurant. Both are both very good. Further up Woodhull Rd is the Forestport Diner. On Route 28 South, Cambells Diner is located on your left.
The campground General Store has local menus for you to look at.
| | Are there grocery stores nearby?
|
| Yes there are. You can start with our General Store on the campground for some of the basics. Then there is the Big M located in Boonville just 6 miles up Route 12 North. Down in Utica you can shop at Walmart, BJ's, or Price Chopper.
| | Do you allow more than 1 camping unit on a site?
|
| We permit one family and one camping unit per site. An additional tent for the registered camper’s immediate family only will be limited to one per site. Immediate family is defined as unmarried children under 18 living with parents. An additional tent may be used only with prior approval from the office.
