2012 was a generous season here at Kayuta Lake Campground!!
We would like to thank all of our camping guests for a very generous 2012 donation season! Thanks to all of you, we were able to raise $4,228.00 to support great foundations like Camp Good Days, the B.R.A.I.N. Foundation and Feed the vets!
Together we raised $2000.00 for Camp Good Days. Thank you everyone who contributed! (Karin & Dev’s hair are finally growing back!)
Thank you all for collecting your cans & bottles and donating them to the B.R.A.I.N. Foundation! We cashed in 27, 540 cans & bottles this year! A new record for the campground! A special thank you goes out to a neighbor of ours, Pete Feisthamel of Remsen, who heard we were collecting and showed up at our doorstep with his donation of over 1,400 cans & bottles, sending us well past our goal! Thank you Pete! Also a big thank you goes out to the Nickelback redemption center in Boonville, for not only redeeming all those cans & bottles, but also for their very generous monetary donation! Thank you Nickelback! This year we were able to send a $1,628.00 donation to the B.R.A.I.N. Foundation! Thank you everyone!
Last, but not least, thank you for all the scrap metal that was donated for the Scrap for Vets campaign. We collected 3 tons of scrap. The proceeds, $600.00, went to the “Feed the Vets” pantry in Utica!
We couldn’t have done all this without all of you! Thank you so much for all you have done this season! We can’t wait to see what the 2013 season has in store for us!
